At Modern Trade Market, we strive to ensure a smooth and transparent experience for both buyers and sellers. However, we understand that sometimes issues may arise during transactions. This Refund and Return Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds, returns, or cancellations may be processed. 1. Refunds for Listing Fees

Modern Trade Market provides a range of paid services, including premium listing packages and promotional tools. The following conditions apply to refunds for these services:

  • Non-refundable Fees: All listing and promotional fees paid to Modern Trade Market are non-refundable once a listing has been approved and posted live on the platform.

  • Refunds for Unposted Listings: If your listing fails to go live due to a technical error on our end or because it was not approved, you may be eligible for a full refund. Contact our customer support team within 14 days of payment to request a refund.

  • Duplicate Payment: In case of accidental duplicate payment for the same service, please contact us within 7 days to request a refund. Proof of duplicate charges may be required.

2. Buyer Refunds and Returns for Vehicles and Spare Parts

Modern Trade Market acts as a classifieds platform, and we do not directly sell or handle the products listed by sellers. As such, refunds and returns for vehicles and spare parts are subject to agreements between buyers and sellers. Here are some key points to consider:

  • Vehicle Sales: Refunds and returns on vehicle purchases are not managed by Modern Trade Market. We recommend that buyers thoroughly inspect vehicles and review all details before finalizing a transaction. It is advisable to request a mechanic’s inspection and to meet in person for high-value purchases. Any refunds or returns for vehicles must be negotiated directly between the buyer and seller.

  • Spare Parts Sales: If you purchase spare parts through Modern Trade Market, ensure that you verify their condition, compatibility, and authenticity before completing the transaction. Refunds or returns of spare parts depend on the seller’s individual policy. Buyers should contact the seller to discuss return eligibility.

  • Fraudulent Transactions: If you believe you’ve been scammed or the seller has provided misleading information, please report the issue to our support team immediately. While Modern Trade Market does not facilitate refunds directly, we will assist in mediating disputes between buyers and sellers when possible.

3. Cancellations of Listings

  • Seller-Initiated Cancellations: Sellers may cancel their vehicle or spare parts listings at any time. However, listing fees are non-refundable, even if the listing is canceled before it expires.

  • Platform-Initiated Cancellations: Modern Trade Market reserves the right to remove or cancel listings that violate our terms and conditions or contain inaccurate, misleading, or prohibited content. No refunds will be issued for listings canceled due to violations of our policies.

4. Dispute Resolution

While Modern Trade Market does not directly process transactions between buyers and sellers, we encourage users to resolve disputes amicably. If a dispute arises, we offer a platform for communication through secure messaging. In cases where a resolution cannot be reached, we recommend seeking legal advice or mediation services to resolve the issue.

5. Payment Method and Refund Processing

If a refund is approved by Modern Trade Market (for listing fees or technical issues), it will be processed as follows:

  • Payment Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

  • Processing Time: Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to be processed, depending on your bank or payment provider. In some cases, additional verification may be required, which could extend processing times.

6. Exceptions to the Refund Policy

Modern Trade Market reserves the right to deny refund requests in the following situations:

  • Failure to provide accurate information during the listing process.
  • Violation of our terms and conditions.
  • Failure to report issues or request refunds within the designated time frame.
